    • Undergraduate senior or 1st/2nd year graduate student (can only apply once while an active graduate student)
    • Cannot have more than 12 months graduate education

  • Stipend: $32,000/9-mth period (intended to allow summer opportunities)

  • Special Circumstances: can be accepted along with a Federal fellowship (i.e. GRFP or NDSEG), will get $6,000/yr supplement to Hertz stipend (up to $38,000/yr)
